This is a big book, but very easy to read. One of the best grammar books I’ve ever come across. I love the way Cowan explains everything, it’s clear and comprehensive.
Another plus point is that the book is full of excellent examples which are extremely helpful!Well according to me this is the worst english grammar book i have ever read. Based on old methods and does not go well the present students or teachers. Very few concepts have been given and that to are not explained cleaely.
If you want to have the better understanding of english grammar then i would suggest you to buy A PRACTICAL ENGLISH GRAMMAR BY A.J. THOMAD and A.V. MARTINETVery useful book only for teachers. If you want to understand in real sense the English Grammar, read it. It is an authentic material.
